Later as I grew up,I met with more difficulties. But whenever I was frustrated,my mothers eyes always gave me hope and encouragement. 关于描述技能的提升建议:以写人为例

描述人物,不外乎外表(appearance)和个性(personality),多数同学总喜欢用形容词、副词,这样会显得单调空洞。有一个4S建议可以帮助我们写的更生动。

1. Speeches:用人物对话、独白。

例如:‘Do you call that a hat?’ I said to my wife.

用这样一个反问句,表达出作者对妻子那顶帽子的不满。

2. Senses:从不同感官入手。

例如:Margaret never wore high heels,and when she walked she ducked her head. Now she stared at the hair dye on theshelf in front of her, biting her nail.

这里观察到走路时“duck(勾着头)”、“stare(盯着染发剂)”、“bite(咬指甲)几个动作,表现出描写的对象可能不愿意引人注目。

3. Scenes:写一个静止的场景。

例如:The woman stood at the window of an expensive shop. She hesitated for a moment before she walked infinally.
